Start your day with Intention & Focus
This is a must in order to get momentum for the day. NEVER look at your phone within the first 30 minutes of waking. There are way too many distractions that can start your day in a negative state of mind! Social media, work emails, etc can poison you as soon as you wake! Wake up with intention of consuming your 12-16 ounces of room temperature water, stretch, pray, meditate, journal, exercise. Whatever recipe that you find primes yourself the best to be ready to not just handle the day, but to own your day.
When you start the day with the intention of doing what you say you’re going to do, it’s easier to get through the day holding the same standard for the rest of the day. You are less likely to eat junk food when you’re winning your day. You will be cognitive of your momentum and don’t want to impede on it for the day. Unless, of course, you have a reward system for yourself which consists of allowing yourself to eat ice cream every time you stay on task. THAT, I do not recommend. Find a better reward system than that!
