Why We Train: It’s More Than Boxing

You don’t have to be a boxer to be a fighter.

Whether you realize it or not, everyone has some fight in them… yes, even you.

At TA Boxing, we use boxing as a therapeutic vehicle to lead and teach fighters like you how to train and box. But our members aren’t just here to throw and roll punches, they’re here for something more powerful. They train in pursuit of something real. We train to live and to enjoy life.

Everyone who walks through our doors has a reason “why” they train and if they don’t, we assist and guide them to find their why. Some train to be stronger for their family, some to battle stress, depression, or self-doubt, some hate their boss and imagine his face at the end of each punch. Some come to find confidence, to unleash their inner animal, or simply to laugh and train hard with like-minded people who understand the “why”. One thing we all have in common is the fight inside.

We train to keep that fight alive. We show up day after day not because it’s easy, but because we believe in fueling the fire to train and fight. We train because we’re not done yet. We fight because we refuse to quit.

In our small group boxing sessions, you’ll train alongside men and women pushing themselves just like you. No egos… just effort, sweat and a whole lot of fight.

Why do we train?

Because we’re fighting for something. Something deeper. Something that keeps us going… for ourselves and for our “why”… every damn day! It’s more than boxing!
