I was always passionate for wanting to be the best that I could be and to always push myself to go as hard as I could when training. Since the age of 3, I have been around sports, from watching older cousins and siblings, to playing football and basketball throughout my childhood. The coaches that I had growing up made lasting imprints on my life in which that I hope I can have the same impact on others.
I started lifting weights the summer going to 9th grade and that’s where my love towards “getting better” started. My friends and I would lift together and push each other to get better and stronger in the weight room and in our sports. When I started to run track in high school, the coach made us lift as a team, which helped to peak my interest with workouts due to learning new exercises and proper form that help translate to better performance but individually and overall as the team.
As I took on more of a leadership role in my latter years of school, it became more conscious that as a team, we were “only as good as the weakest link” and made it a priority to get the younger athletes serious about their work within within their sports and in the weight room. If you do not push yourself, you will not get the results that you are looking for.
I want to help each person find their will to want to push their limits while getting into overall better shape and motivate themselves into doing more for their own personal happiness. Helping someone to achieve their own goals gives me satisfaction knowing that I am able to help and have a positive impact on lives!
