The majority of personal training clients I come across, have their mind set on losing weight, the number on the scale. By the time the evaluation is complete, the personal training client usually agrees that loss of body fat is their main concern. (Even if they may revert back)
“Do cardio” = lose body fat. Not exactly, cardio is only 1 a part of the puzzle. Many people, whether personal training clients or are independently looking to lose weight, look to move the weight on the scale. What is important, as a personal trainer, is to remind the personal training client that we are here not just to move the scale but to lose body fat. Weight loss, as we discussed in a prior article, can be misleading. It’s Important to identify what you are losing.

Cherry hill body fat loss Exercise 1: Squat jump with burpiee
Follow proper squatting form, fully extend your hips, Land back into the squat, drop your hands onto the ground and kick your legs back, land in push up position, kick your feet back in and stand up repeating the exercise. Watch video to see variations.

Begin in plank position, body totally straight, begin to push your forearms up from plank position into push up position, keep body parallel with the ground at all times. Watch video to see variations
Cherry Hill body fat loss Exercise 3: Jumping jacks with tuck jump
begin stand straight up with arms completely straight, split legs in a wide stance, hands over he.ad and clap, then bring them back to start. Add the tuck jump after each one you complete. Modify, by adding high knees instead of the tuck jump. Watch video to see variations.
